now a stream

now the whole fucking tidal ocean
drowning you in praise
tangled seaweed in your mouth
choking on your own kelp
quick, here
a log a raft a canoe
paddle away from this mess
too wild too wet
sopping and soaking in drivel
have a towel
it's warm inside
by the fire
